These Sisters took us on a Tour of the Visitors Center..."God's
Plan for Us"...and "The History of the Church in Missouri."
They are Sister Bench and Sister McBride...They did a
wonderful job of teaching with the Spirit.
They have strong testimonies and teaching skills!
Sisters Bench and McBride, Me, George, and Sisters Draper
and Williams (who are the Sister Leaders at the VC). We had
a planning meeting this morning with the Sister Leaders to
talk about the combined training meeting for this Friday.
Another great couple, Elder and Sister Lovell at
the VC today! It was so fun to get to know them!
Here, we are feeling inadequate but anxious to learn
and make good things happen here...especially for the
Sister Missionaries and Senior Couple Missionaries
serving with us, and for all who visit these Historic
places! It really is a great place to visit and
bring your families!
We also went to liberty Jail and had Sister Giraud Carrier
(Everyone calls her Sister GC as no one can pronounce it
correctly!) and her companion, Sister Brower, take us on a
tour. I could do that over and over again...It's a profound
experience! Sisters Anderson and Wilkins took us through
Liberty Jail yesterday and did a marvelous job also! I've
known the History of the Saints in Missouri and the
experience Joseph Smith and others had in Liberty Jail,
but to hear the Sisters share and express their feelings
and testimonies concerning these experiences is
exceptional! We also met the couple working there
today, Elder and Sister Wilson. I'm sorry I didn't get
a picture with any of them at Liberty Jail
today or yesterday! :-(
